He is the founder and CEO of Agriyields, a precision agriculture platform delivering innovative technology and financial solutions to small holder farmers in Africa, with a focus on Remote Sensing, agronomy, climate risk, , digitalization, EUDR & produce traceability and electronic payments.
His vision is to change the mindsets of small holder farmers to transition from traditional to science based, evidence based methods of farming across diverse crop value chains, reach atleast a million farmers across Africa, create new agribusiness opportunities for youth and women, creating meaningful social economic transformation of rural communities.
He is an executive with diverse expertise in technology relevant across sectors, with multi country Experience having worked on several digital transformational projects with leading technology companies in Uganda, South Sudan, Nigeria, as well as with the UN in Madagascar.
Most recently, he has been a panelist at the 2024 Agribusiness mKutano, speaking about approaches to climate smart agriculture in Uganda.
He holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Makerere University, an MSc in Telecom Engineering from University College London, and he is a certified public private partnerships expert.
He enjoys farming, tourism & travel, wildlife and its scenery. He is also avid soccer fan.
