Henry Mukasa serves as a GIZ Advisor on mineral resource governance for the project “Cooperation for peace, security and responsible natural resource governance in the Great Lakes Region of Africa”. He provides strategic and technical advice to the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) and the Uganda Directorate of Geological Survey and Mines. Henry focuses on implementing the ICGLR Regional Initiative against the Illegal Exploitation of Natural Resources, particularly the Regional Certification Mechanism. He is a Senior Geologist with over 10 years of experience in mineral exploration, extraction, and responsible mineral resource governance.
