Dr Susan Nakanwagi is a certified Green Project Manager and the Energy, Natural Resources Governance, and Sustainability Specialist at Regenerate Africa in Uganda. She holds a PhD and Master of Laws from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum, Mineral Law & Policy, University of Dundee. A former research associate at the IEA, she contributed to its inaugural report on critical minerals. She is the author of a book titled "Critical Minerals, Sustainability, and the Energy Transition in the Global South: A Justice Perspective". She has worked on projects for the African Mineral Development Centre, International Energy Agency, World Bank, African Legal Support Facility, and UK Aid.
