Ivan Mugeere is the Country Manager for PULA Advisors Uganda Limited, part of PULA Advisors, headquartered in Switzerland and Nairobi. PULA is a leading agricultural insurance and technology company that develops innovative solutions to help smallholder farmers mitigate yield risks, enhance their agricultural practices, and increase their incomes. With extensive international experience across Scandinavia, South Asia, and East and Southern Africa, Ivan has been instrumental in driving impactful projects for smallholder farmers in Uganda. Notably, under his leadership, PULA Advisors has mapped more 700,000 farmers so far (in 4months) in alignment with the European Union's regulations on deforestation in Uganda. His deep expertise in AgTech and commitment to sustainable agriculture make him a valuable contributor to discussions on the transformative potential of AgTech for smallholder agriculture.
