Jennifer Hinton is Group Manager, ESG for Jervois Global, an Australian-headquartered battery metals company with a strategic focus on cobalt and nickel. Prior to this, Jennifer spent almost two decades working with governments, miners, communities and companies in over 20 countries, mainly in the Global South. Expertise ranges from sustainability in the minerals sector to improving the performance of small scale mines to gender dimensions of minerals policy. Clients have included the World Bank, USAID, GiZ, various UN agencies and a range of other governments, companies and organizations. Dr. Hinton holds a B.A.Sc. (Geol. Eng), M.A.Sc. (Mining Eng.) and PhD (Mining Eng.).
