His company, Elewa (Swahili for “To Understand”), builds the bridge between Europe’s IT talent shortage and Kenya’s youth unemployment. At the front, Elewa is an IT agency focused on bespoke software development for start-ups and SMEs. Acting as a one-stop-shop, Elewa’s service spans solution & product design, fixed-scope MVP projects and offshoring of complete Product and IT Teams. On the back, Elewa offers managed apprenticeships for Kenyan high-potential software developers, growing them from their first job into senior levels.
