About me
Agnes Karingu is the Deputy Director Education and Public Awareness at the Anti-Counterfeit Authority, a state corporation in Kenya mandated to combat counterfeiting. She is responsible for creating public awareness, devising and implementing stakeholder training programs and is also involved in management of stakeholder partnerships alongside other senior officers. With over 15 years of experience in this field Agnes is passionate about her work and is highly committed in ensuring the enlightening of the Kenyan publics on issues of counterfeiting for a safer and healthier community as well as conducive business environment. She has great communication and critical thinking skills as well as high resilience, and works very well with all around her. Agnes holds an Executive Masters Degree in Business Administration, which coupled with her work and community service experience, complements her strong managerial and leadership skills. She is a believer in continual improvement and embraces opportunities for her organization and personal transformation. Agnes draws her inspiration from a highly valued and supportive family as well as her strong Catholic foundation.
