With over 25 years of experience across finance, investment, and risk management, Jim is head of the EIB Regional Hub for Southern Africa & the Indian Ocean based in Pretoria, overseeing operations in Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean region. Since joining the EIB in 2009, he has led due diligence, financial analysis, and client engagement for major investment projects, following earlier roles in strategic planning and financial services advisory. He started his career with Deloitte, and has also co-founded and managed ventures in the UK sports advertising sectors, bringing a unique blend of private sector entrepreneurship and development finance expertise.
