Jan Bochniak is a seasoned international trade professional with over 15 years of experience in supporting the development of Polish exports across diverse private-sector industries.
He currently serves as Head of the Foreign Trade Office in Casablanca at the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), where he has been based for the past seven years. In this role, he has played a key part in strengthening economic ties between Poland and Morocco, contributing to a more than threefold increase in bilateral trade and supporting the successful implementation of several major Polish investment projects.
From Casablanca, Jan also coordinates and supports PAIH’s activities across the wider West African region, with a growing strategic focus on expanding Poland’s economic presence in these markets.
He holds an MBA degree and is a trained simultaneous interpreter, combining strong business acumen with advanced cross-cultural communication skills.
PAIH is part of the Polish Development Fund Group (PFR), which offers a comprehensive ecosystem of support instruments for investors, including trade and investment financing provided by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego and insurance solutions from KUKE.
