Deretha is the regional manager for TRL Space in Africa. Originally from South Africa, she moved to Czechia to pursue a PhD in Security and Strategic Studies. At TRL, she leads business development across the continent, identifying new markets, aligning local needs with aerospace and drone technologies, and advancing projects in earth observation satellites.
