My names are Richard Kapansa an experienced engineer in Copper extraction with over 13 years mining experience. I am currently leading a team for Kroup Mining and processing as General Manager were we are trying to innovate the Leach plant. I have been involved in a lot of world class plant design and commissioning including the 17.5 million tons of Oxide plant and recently the S3 project at Kansanshi. My background is Metallurgical Engineering from the Copperbelt University and a Master of Science in Mineral and Energy economics at Curtin University in Australia.
