Education 2008 Graduated from Political Sciences at Faculty of Social Sciences of the Charles University in Prague (master´s degree) (www.cuni.cz) Professional Experience 2021 – present First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic 2019 – 2021 Program Manager and Secretary of the Foreign Affairs Policy team of Civic Democratic Party (ODS), Member of Election Campaign Team of the SPOLU coalition 2011 – 2019 Lecturer, CEVRO Institute (www.cevroinstitut.cz) 2009 – 2019 Director, CEVRO 2007 – 2019 Member of the Steering Committee of European Network of Political Foundations (www.enop.eu) 2004 – 2009 Program Manager, CEVRO 2004 – 2012 Advisor to the Chairman of the Committee for European Affairs of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Jiří Kozák organized numerous projects of political education and democracy assistance in the Czech Republic as well as abroad. He lectured in many countries on human rights, political education and building of political parties and systems. He is the author and co-editor of The Memory of Nations - Democratic Transition Guide, one of the largest comparative studies of democratic transitions in 13 countries.
