Since December 2024, I am the European Commissioner for International Partnerships. In this role, I lead the EU’s efforts to strengthen sustainable global partnerships, focusing on economic growth, poverty reduction, and international stability. Before joining the European Commission, I was the Czech Minister of Industry and Trade and prior to that I held top positions in European banking.
