About me
Raphaël Danglade serves as the Lead Portfolio Manager for Climate and Development at the Africa-Europe Foundation (AEF). With a rich background spanning international foundations, think tanks, civil society organisations, and private sector enterprises, he brings a multidisciplinary perspective to his role. Raphaël has played a leading role in establishing and expanding the Climate and Development Portfolio at AEF, working collaboratively with sectoral teams, strategic partners, and co-founders to align the portfolio's impact with organisational goals. His expertise encompasses critical domains such as climate action, energy, agri-food systems, the blue economy, carbon markets, transition minerals, and sustainable finance. Aimed at both fostering cross-continental partnerships and growing the AEF partnership infrastructure, he advances proposals/initiatives, leads influential outreach, policy advocacy, and pilot projects in relation to Africa and Europe, and the AU-EU Partnership.
