Mary Kamari is a development finance professional with over 20 years of experience leading resource mobilisation, programme management and business development in some of the most prominent development institutions globally and in Africa, including the World Bank where she started her career, the UN, DBSA and GoodWorks International. Ms. Kamari joined TDB Group in 2012 where she has been able to distinguish herself by raising equity capital and funding from sovereigns and institutional investors, as well as from strategic partners, in addition to developing and managing strategic partnerships and networks, and enhancing the Group’s brand equity. Ms. Kamari serves on a number of boards, and since 2024 as Executive Director of the Trade and Development Fund (TDF), TDB Group’s concessional window. Ms. Kamari holds an MBA from California State University, a Certificate in Strategic Management in Banking from INSEAD Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Makerere University
