Senait is the Resident Representative for Malawi and Zambia at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Bank Group, based in Lusaka, Zambia. She is responsible for formulating and implementing country strategies to enhance IFC's footprint in these nations, as well as spearheading efforts to expand IFC's investment and advisory programs. Senait's career at IFC began as an Investment Officer, covering cross-industries, and she later advanced to the role of Senior Country Officer, overseeing operations in Ethiopia, Djibouti, Eritrea, Sudan, and South Sudan. Prior to joining IFC, Senait gained extensive experience in the commercial banking sector, where she held various management positions. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. Additionally, she is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) in the UK.
