Mr. Francis A. M. Mensah is a social economist and a seasoned leader in the Liberian diaspora community in Europe, with over 20 years of experience.
Mr. Mensah holds a Master’s degree in Industrial and Innovation Management from the Graduate School of Business, Economics, and Law at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Education for Sustainable Development at the University of Gothenburg. He was a member of the first graduating class of A. M. E. Zion University College in Monrovia, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management in 1999.
Mr. Mensah served as President of the Liberian Community in Sweden for over 10 years, after which he resigned from the presidency. He has also served as Secretary General of the European Federation of Liberian Associations (EFLA) for 10 years and is currently the President of EFLA, the umbrella organization of the Liberian European diaspora community.
Before emigrating to Europe, Mr. Mensah worked with the Liberian National Police Force, Special Operations Unit, for four years as a Rapid Response Officer and shift secretary. He also worked with the General Services Agency (GSA) as a Research and Policy Analyst under the mentorship of the late Dr. Romeo Horton.
Mr. Mensah currently works as a Service Leader for Selecta International Food Tech AB and is the proprietor of Monnoh Trading Company (MTC), which specializes in shipping household and assorted goods from Sweden to Monrovia, Liberia.
