Mayor John-Charuk Saah Siafa is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 20 years of diverse experience in Administration, Accounting, Sales & Marketing, and Business Operations. His career has been marked by a proven track record of setting up successful projects and businesses, enhancing operational efficiency, and achieving strategic objectives. Hon. John-Charuk Siafa, Mayor of the City of Monrovia, is the statutory Chairman of the Monrovia Consolidated School Board. The Monrovia Consolidated School System is a government entity with the jurisdiction to provide elementary and secondary education in public schools in the Monrovia Metropolitan Area. From November 2023 to February 2024, Mayor Siafa was the Project Coordinator for the JNB-JKK Inaugural Volunteers Cleanup Campaign, a civic-based initiative launched by President-Elect H.E. Joseph Nyuma Boakai. This project aimed to collaborate with municipal authorities in major Liberian cities to improve the aesthetics of key streets and intersections leading up to the presidential inauguration. Mayor. Siafa successfully mobilised and coordinated over 10,000 volunteers in Monrovia, Paynesville, and other areas, removing an estimated 11 million kilograms of solid waste. Before this role, from 2018 to 2023, he held the position of Head of Business Development & Economic Affairs at the Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Liberia, where he focused on increasing trade volumes between Ukraine and Liberia and fostering business opportunities between the two countries. As the Founder and CEO of Siafa Group from 2016 to 2023, Mayor Siafa restructured Premier Service Group into a holding company with subsidiary companies, demonstrating his strategic leadership and business acumen. Throughout his career, Mayor Siafa has held various key roles in the insurance sector, including Managing Consultant at the African Insurance Corporation of Liberia and Founder/CEO of Premier Service Group. Mayor Siafa holds a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the Rome Business School, Italy, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from AME University, Liberia. He has also received certifications in key areas such as Key Account Management and Insurance Risk Management. Mayor Siafa recently enrolled in an urban policy training program at the esteemed London School of Economics in an attempt to broaden his understanding of urban administration. In addition to his professional endeavors, Mayor Siafa has been married for 18 years and has 5 children (biological and adopted). Mayor Siafa has been actively involved in community service, serving on the Board of Directors for organizations such as Girls & Development Inc., Child Development Academy, and Consolidate Life & General Insurance Company Liberia Limited.
