My name is Karim Chetioui, Technical Assistance Coordinator for the Team Europe Initiative on Opportunity-driven Skills and VET in Africa (TEI OP-VET) at Enabel. In this role, I coordinate the implementation of technical assistance supporting partner countries in aligning vocational education and training systems with labour market needs and investment opportunities. Karim is a Belgian-Tunisian specialist in employment and vocational training policies with nearly 20 years of experience across Europe, North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa, working with public institutions, development partners, and private sector actors. I previously served for over 10 years as a Belgian civil servant, including in several executive roles.
