Letizia Gerli works for the Directorate General for Trade and Economic Security of the European Commission. Since 2023 she is the Trade Counsellor responsible for trade relations with Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia and Mozambique. She has several years of experience in the field of international relations with a focus on trade and customs issues. She has previously worked for the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development first in the field of EU internal market and then on WTO negotiations and relations with SADC States.
