Sam Williams is a member of the team working on international outreach for CBAM, covering Namibia, in DG TAXUD Unit C2 at the European Commission. Sam particularly follows the work behind carbon pricing with regard to Article 9 of the CBAM Regulation. Before joining the European Commission, Sam was Senior Officer at Hydrogen Europe, focusing on international energy cooperation and trade measures. Sam obtained his MSc in EU Public Policy from LSE, and an MA in International Relations from the College of Europe.
