Anne Keppler is Regional Director Southern Africa for DEG based in Johannesburg. Together with the local team and colleagues in Cologne she is responsible for originating, executing and managing DEG’s debt and equity investments in the region. The regional office provides debt or equity funding solutions to corporate clients, private equity funds, project finance transactions and Financial Institutions. Before assuming this role in June 2018 she has been working as Vice President for DEGs Private Equity team since June 2010 and is already based in Johannesburg since 2011. Prior to joining DEG’s PE team Anne has been part of DEGs Financial Services team working on debt and equity transactions since 2005 and worked as credit analyst for financial institutions at WestLB in Germany.
