Pedro Couto is the Chairman of Couto, Graça e Associados (CGA) and Head of the Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure practice. He currently serves as Chairman of the CMS Africa Steering Committee and is a member of the board of directors of several companies in Mozambique. Pedro is an appointed arbitrator of the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) for the term 21 February 2025 to 20 February 2030. With 31 years of experience, is involved in initiatives such as BOT, BOOT, restructuring of companies, foreign investment, financing, privatization and public procurement (transport, mining, aviation, energy, oil, gas, Port, rail and business infrastructure). He is an expert in energy and project finance having participated in most power and infrastructure projects in recent years in Mozambique.
