Alexandre is a tech entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience building digital infrastructure across Mozambique and Africa. He is the founder of VOID and Fidli, and a partner at Navuna, with deep specialization across Fintech, Agritech, and Retailtech.
His work spans some of the most consequential digital projects in the region. As lead on Mozambique's e-Procurement Management System (e-GP) — a Ministry of Finance initiative funded by the World Bank — he is helping deliver one of the country's largest e-government transformations. He holds a specialization in Innovation Management from the University of Illinois.
In Agritech, Alexandre has designed and built two Production Management Systems from the ground up, digitizing the full value chain — from seed to shelf — across tobacco, cotton, coconut, and sisal, serving over 70,000 farmers. One of these systems is deployed by TotalEnergies in Palma to manage coconut plantations earmarked for future biodiesel production. He is currently developing a Manufacturing Management System (MMS) to fully digitize a tobacco factory, integrating production control, quality, yields, and packing with the existing supply chain platform.
Through Fidli, he offers SMEs an all-in-one platform covering accounting, e-commerce, loyalty and rewards, embedded finance, insurance, marketing, and AI assistance. The platform has served over 150 companies in four years and is currently used by brands including ABInBev, Higest, Exito Energia, and Terramar.
Alexandre also leads the IT department of Higest (Frango Nacional) on a BPO model, where he has introduced AI-automated processes across the organization.
At EABF, he is looking to connect with investors and partners who recognize Mozambique's potential and are committed to strengthening its ecosystem — scaling and backing local champions.
