Signing ceremony of the ElectriFI – Source Energia agreement: Mobilising DFI Capital to Accelerate Renewable Energy Development in Mozambique

The Electrification Financing Initiative (ElectriFI) and Source Energia sign the first development loan on a partnership that enables the platform, together with additional DFI partners to be announced by the end of the year, to access up to US$10 million of development funding, alongside a broader financing strategy involving an additional US$50 million of construction capital for minority investments alongside sponsors such as Globeleq, JCM Power, and AXIAN Energy, together with a group of international DFI lenders.
