This session will highlight ongoing cooperation initiatives among Portuguese-speaking countries to advance sustainable energy and strengthen regional collaboration. Organised by ALER, the discussion will focus on the work developed under the CPLP Energy and Climate Thematic Commission, while showcasing opportunities for partnerships, investment, and knowledge sharing across the region.

The session will also position Mozambique as an emerging reference for energy transition within the CPLP, highlighting the country’s growing role in attracting projects, investment, and international cooperation. Discussions will reflect on the outcomes of the I CPLP Energy and Climate Week, held in Maputo in 2025, and present the upcoming II CPLP Energy and Climate Week in Luanda.
