International partners’ support to the Lobito Corridor
Information
Key topic: How international partners, World Bank Group, African Development Bank, United Nations and the European Union support the Lobito Corridor development.
This closing session of the online phase aims to provide participants with a concise overview of how international partners are supporting the Lobito Corridor—not only in terms of infrastructure and transport, but also through broader sustainable development initiatives that benefit local populations.
While maintaining a strong economic focus aligned with the Business Forum, the session will highlight the diverse approaches of key international stakeholders, setting the stage for deeper, in-person discussions in Luanda. Particular emphasis will be placed on support to the private sector, especially in priority areas such as agriculture and agribusiness, transport and logistics, as well as blue economy and energy.
