AICEP has Permanent Offices in Africa - Angola, Cape Verde, Mozambique, South Africa, Morocco and Argelia.
Portugal has strong ties with Africa. The importance of this relationship results not only from the historical and cultural relations with the Portuguese-speaking countries in Africa (Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe and Equatorial Guinea), but from an intense political and economic relationship with these and other countries and with multilateral organizations operating in the African continent (namely, European Union, AfDB, World Bank Group, EBRD, EIB, United Nations and Big Science).
