Chillerton Group Limited is a privately owned mining company developing a number of near-term copper assets in the Zambian Copperbelt. Chillerton’s ambition is to become a green copper mining company through the use of renewable energy and sustainable mining methods, To that end, the company is currently advancing a large (40MW) Solar Farm and has recently completed a feasibility study which details a technically viable and economically robust solar farm.
Chillerton is managed by an experienced group of operators which previous experience in delivering large scale mining projects.

Project Pitch
Chillerton Group Limited is looking to build a new green copper mine and has completed a feasibility study for a new 40MW solar farm adjacent to its mine site near Chililabombwe on the Copperbelt.
The 40MW Solar Farm is now in the final permitting stage and the land has already been secured. The project has technically feasible and economically robust. The capex is approximately $25million with a payback period of 3.5 years and a 25 year lifespan. Pre-engineering works have been completed and site preparations are underway.

Previous roles: Founder & Partner Silvertree Partners, Investor Relations and Head Corporate Development roles for several mining companies including Antofagasta (FTSE100 listed). Mr Sillem was also an Executive for a mining finance and venture capital company with offices in London and Moscow.
Karan Rathi – Director
Previous roles: Various roles over nearly 15 years with the commodities office established by his family, Executive trainee (HSBC), Commodity Analyst (Mark Rick & Co.)
Commentary: Karan has a long history in Zambian mining with over 30 years spent in the region
