Kamano Seed Limited, established in 2004, has become one of Zambia’s leading seed producers and distributors. To build on this growth, we are launching a strategic project to upscale production and expand into export markets across Africa. The initiative leverages our newly installed, state-of-the-art seed processing machine, one of the largest and most advanced in Zambia, capable of delivering high volumes of internationally certified, premium-quality seed.
The total project investment is ZMW 13 million (approximately €481,500). These funds will be directed toward increasing production capacity, strengthening distribution channels, obtaining export certifications, and developing logistics frameworks for cross-border trade. With Africa’s agricultural sector projected to grow steadily, the demand for improved seed varieties presents a significant revenue opportunity.
This expansion positions Kamano Seed Limited as a regional leader, unlocking access to new markets, diversifying revenue streams, and ensuring attractive returns for investors.
