Strategically, Niassa Province currently functions as an isolated "market island." Despite its diverse production of raw materials for feed, the region’s annual protein consumption—which exceeds $2.4 million—is forced to rely on expensive and inconsistent imports from Malawi and Nampula. This is due to a lack of local maize and soy agro-processing systems, compounded by high logistical costs and unstable supply.
In this context, Dream Agrobusiness solves this problem through a 100% local operation in Chimbunila. We are currently supporting 50,000 maize and soy farmers along the Nacala Corridor and implementing a vertically integrated model that controls the entire value chain through:
- Cost Efficiency: Utilizing raw materials from our smallholder farmers to produce our own feed from local maize and soy, we eliminate 70% of the cost volatility that plagues our competitors.
- Industrial Capacity: Establishing local industrial complexes with a production capacity of 41,000 birds per month.
