I am an education and qualifications expert with 13 years of work experience in credential evaluation, development of National Occupational Standards (NOS), skills development, and strategic planning. Currently, I work at the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA) where I have significantly contributed to developing educational and occupational standards, the development and execution of ZAQA's strategic plans and operational systems, verification and recognition of qualifications, and facilitating portability as well as mobility of qualifications across borders.
At the continental level, I am the Chairperson of the African Continental Qualifications Framework (ACQF) Cluster 3, a working group tasked to promote the development and implementation of qualifications frameworks and systems that are grounded in research, evidence, and best practices. The Cluster is also assigned to build coherent, responsive, and quality-assured qualifications systems that promote lifelong learning, enhance transparency, and facilitate mobility of learners and workers across Africa.
