Energia para Todos: Results and Achievements of Mozambique's National Electrification Programme

The Energia para Todos session at RENMOZ 2026 will showcase the progress and achievements of Mozambique’s flagship national electrification programme, led by MIREME, EDM, and FUNAE with support from the World Bank. The session will highlight key results in expanding access to electricity across rural and peri-urban communities, while reflecting on lessons learned and the government’s vision for advancing universal energy access in Mozambique.

The session will also create space for dialogue on the future of electrification and renewable energy in the country, focusing on remaining challenges, opportunities for collaboration, and strategies to support the next phase of the programme’s implementation.
