Project Pitch
IZUBA (1000 Hills Products) is redefining sustainable agriculture and renewable energy integration in Rwanda through a closed-loop, zero-pollution production system. By utilizing solar energy, biogas, and lake water, IZUBA maximizes resource efficiency while minimizing environmental impact. The company currently supplies 60,000kg of naturally processed specialty green coffee annually to the European market and is vertically integrating its supply chain to increase profitability. IZUBA has also introduced premium dried pineapple rings and plans to scale production from 2 MT to 12 MT per month. Pilots for mango, papaya, jackfruit and bananas are underway to diversify operations. The company integrates renewable energy and biogas systems to reduce emissions and lower electricity costs by approximately 8 million RWF monthly.
