Project Pitch

Within East Africa, Salvo Grima Group distributes FMCG and healthcare products through a strong network of over 350 employees across Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya. The company distributes products to supermarkets and pharmacies, supported by investments in warehouses and logistics fleets.

The Group is well positioned to enter into the distribution of pharmaceutical and medicinal products and ensure end-to-end coverage of such products in partnership with, or on behalf of, local governments. Through strong governance standards, the Group continues to be entrusted with new territories by international principals, demonstrating its high level of service and corporate governance.

The project foresees the recruitment of specialised individuals and additional investment in logistics fleets and premises to support pharmaceutical distribution services in Rwanda. The company currently employs 105 people in Rwanda, and the expansion into pharmaceutical distribution is expected to generate additional specialised employment opportunities.

The company has extensive experience distributing high-value inventories and has implemented strong internal control structures to ensure the safe and low-risk distribution of pharmaceutical products.
